Honored to receive the “Best Presenter” award by vote of the 300 attendees at the seventh annual ProductCamp Atlanta conference yesterday. I presented: “Hacking Customer Discovery”.
Attendees of my session learned how to dramatically reduce the risk of building products that nobody wants to buy.
Product managers and entrepreneurs who attended:
– Learned a customer discovery process to get you moving incredibly fast
– Learned how to avoid the most common big mistakes people make in Customer Discovery (don’t do these!)
– Discovered a powerful approach to testing your hypotheses that you’d never come up with on your own
– Learned a simple but non-obvious hack to get interviews with customers you don’t know yet
It was a great audience, and a lot of fun to lead the session at ProductCamp Atlanta.
Attendees of my session are keeping the momentum going with a month of weekly group coaching accountability sessions via teleconference, starting this Tuesday night.

Hey David – So sorry to have missed your session at PCampATL this weekend. Congrats on being the best presenter!
Any chance of getting the deck or Cliffs Notes? And the secret code for the group coaching sessions?
thanks,
Cate McConnell
Hey Cate, thank you! Will email you details with a cliff notes version of the deck. The 4 weekly group coaching session that start tomorrow immediately sold out. Will add you to the waiting list, and if a spot opens up, I’m glad for you to join us.
Congrats on the win, David! I’d love to see the cliff notes as well if that offer is still open.

You got it, John. Check your email for a private link to the short version.
Sounds like lots of fun, sorry I missed it.
David,
Congrats on being the best presenter. I tried to make it to the post lunch session this weekend but the room was full! Is it possible to learn more about it? I heard great reviews.

Hi David,
Congrats! I was also not able to attend your session. Any chance you can send me the link to the short version as well?
Thanks,
Reena
Hello David,
Congratulations! 2 of my close friends attended and let me know that I missed a great one. At the risk of piling on here, I would also like to request a copy of your deck (in whatever format), and please add me to the coaching waiting list.
All my best,
Tom
