My workout mix uses transition songs between some harder rocking music. Have the music crossfade between tracks and it really flows together. For example:

Alan Parsons Project - Siruis (good opening/Chicago Bulls intro)
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger (I know - cheesy, but it transitions well with Sirius)
Adelitas Way - Invincible
Disturbed - Down with the Sickness
Drowning Pool - Bodies
Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name of
Van Halen - 1984 (another transition - cool synth!)
Rush - Tom Sawyer
Living Colour - Cult of Personality
Billy Squire - The Stroke
Queen - We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions (can't have one without the other)
Cage the Elephant - Ain't No Rest for the Wicked
Seether - Gasoline
AC/DC, Metallica, Megadeth
Etc...

Put in your "Rocky" music throughout the mix instead of one after the other. They can separate these music block (3-5 songs) and give you the pump you need between sets. I hope some of this helped. Enjoy!

Alot of the songs are good... The rocky songs are good if you grew up in the era, when i hear them i think of a machine training, i think it hits the point of training music. Not everyone can listen to heavy music, i like to switch it up.

what i listen 2..

passenger - deftones ft. Maynard of Tool
run rabbit run - eminem
session - linkin park
under the knife - rise against
behind closed door - rise against
drones - rise against
give it all - rise against

hell alot of rise against songs are good, and i just noticed i have alot of them, as well as some stuff from muse.

I gotta say, that I am not to big on all the Rocky movie songs. and I have to believe that you can find music for weightlifting that wasn't popular in the 80's.

Anyway here is my contribution.
Rob Zombie- Never gonna Stop
Kid Rock- American Bad Ass
            - Cocky
            - I got one for ya
            - No woman no cry (very kewl remake, if you can find it)
            - wasting time
Nickelback - Animals
Korn - coming undone
Breaking Benjamin - I will not bow
Linkin Park - One step closer
drowning pool - step up
Eminem - the way i am
saliva - click click boom
Marilyn Manson - rock is dead
Rob Zombie - scum of the earth
Slipknot - wait and bleed
Pantera - Walk
Metallica - anything from their early albums
            - better than you
Three days grace - Riot
Acid Bath- a lot of good stuff, gotta do some research.

ENJOY!!!!!!

Dude I'm sorry but this is not good. I think your mind might be blown if you try working out to some metal. This is playlist is for chilling with a beer. Try Indestructible by Disturbed or Killing in the Name of by Rage.
